EU Donor Atlas 2010



The EU Donor Atlas 2010 has been produced by Tech4Dev in collaboration with IBF International Consulting S.A. under the Framework Contract Commission (Request no. 2009/219837). The authors of the EU Donor Atlas 2010 are Stefano Migliorisi and Mauro Napodano (Tech4Dev). The authors were assisted by a team that included Stefano Bertolotti, Giuseppe Piloni and Rosanna Ania. The authors would like to express their gratitude to Member States and the Commission for their generous participation in this Donor Atlas exercise. The EU Donor Atlas is based on the data on ODA provided by the DAC International Development Statistics online: DAC online (for annual aggregates) and Creditor Reporting System online (for aid activities) as of January 2010 -covering data for the years up to 2008. All data were in constant 2007 US dollars and were converted into Euros using the average DAC exchange rate for 2007. However, OECD-DAC does not provide ODA information for Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Malta, Romania and Slovenia for which aggregate data were gathered from the European Commission’s Annual Progress Report on the Monterrey Process. Please note that in this Atlas, EU bilateral aid is defined to include both bilateral aid from the 27 Member States and European Community aid, managed by the European Commission.
